You can expect personal, one-on-one attention from our entire team. At ProDental in Columbia we understand that each of our patients has unique wants and needs. That’s why we promote open communication, to understand what you are looking for in your smile, so we can design a care plan that is right for you. We take the time to explain your options, listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have.
I was born in Columbia but started into the field of Dentistry in 1989 after graduating from the MTI Dental Assisting Program in Bradenton, Florida. I chose dentistry as my career because I wanted to help people improve or get back their smiles to have more confidence and feel good about them selves. I began my career as a CDA with my EFDA dental radiology licenses then moved into a prosthetic lab where I learned the process of making crowns bridges partials dentures night and sports guards and provisional temporary’s then after 4 years made a move back into dentistry as a BA in 2000.
I love the position of the BA because it allows me to help educate the patients better due to my background as a CDA/Lab Technician. When I am not working at ProDental with the most amazing doctors and awesome staff that have become my 2nd family, I am busy raising 5 of my beautiful grandchildren which keep me on my toes and brings the most joy and pleasure to my life. It also allows me to do 3 of my favorite things; cook, bake, and watch old movies. When I have any free time I love to read and ride my bike.
I graduated from Nichols Career Center in 2006. I have been an expanded function dental assistant at ProDental ever since. I enjoy helping patients whether it is to get their dream smile or getting them out of pain. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter Hadlee, who keeps me very busy.
I graduated from Missouri College in Saint Louis, MO in 2014 with an Associates of Applied Science Dental Hygiene. After graduation, I began practicing in Phoenix, Arizona. I joined the team at ProDental in July 2015. My primary focus is patient care. I love being able to work closely with patients to achieve their perfect smile. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling.
I went to the accredited dental assisting program at Nichols Career Center and graduated with a certification in expanded functions. I've been with the ProDental family for 18 years and have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful professionals. Putting the patient as ease and quality dental care are my main priorities. I believe that educating the patient to their options puts the patient in control of their dental health. My husband and I make our home in Columbia, MO. We enjoy a busy schedule with family and friends.
I graduated from dental assistant school in 1997. I have been with Prodental for seven years and the staff here feels like family. I love working with my patients and getting them a better smile or just getting them out of pain. I am a new grandma and love spending time with my family. I enjoy camping, riding the ATV, and playing with my two dogs.
